How To Pay Haryana Road Tax Online
Step 1: Open any browser on your phone or computer and then go to the official website that is https://checkpost.parivahan.gov.in.
Step 2: Now you will see the ‘Border Tax Payment’ option at the top left corner of your screen. Click on that option. Then a drop-down menu will appear. Click on the ‘Tax payment’ option from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Now you will have to select your visiting state name. In this case, you will have to choose ‘Haryana’ from the available options.
Now under the service name option, you will have to click on the ‘Vehicle tax collection (other state)’ option. Then click on the ‘Go’ button.
Step 4: Now you will be asked to fill in some details. You just have to enter your vehicle number and then click on the ‘Check details’ option present next to it.
Step 5: Once you enter your vehicle number and click on the check details option all other remaining details will get auto-filled.
Step 6: There might be a chance that your mobile number will not be auto-filled. So, in this case, you will have to enter your mobile number. Now under the distance in km option enter 100.
Under the service type option choose ‘Not applicable’. Now under the tax mode, you can select the one according to your choice. You can pay it monthly, quarterly, or even yearly.
Now under the ‘Border barrier district through entering’ option click on the barrier through which you want to enter. Now you will have to select and set the date and time accordingly. Now click on the ‘Calculate tax’ option.
Step 7: Once you click on the Calculate tax you will be able to see the tax amount. Then click on the ‘Pay tax’ option.
Step 8: Once you click on the pay tax option you will see a confirmation pop-up. Verify and cross-check the details carefully and then click on the Confirm button
Step 9: The payment gateway will be opened. Here select the payment gateway of your choice from the three options. The three options available are
- IDBI Aggregator EGRAS
- SBI Aggregator EGRAS
- PNB Aggregator EGRAS
Now accept the terms and conditions by clicking on the check box. Click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 10: A pop-up will appear which will show how much rupees will be charged if you pay it with the help of your credit card, debit card, and net banking. Once you read this click on the Ok button.
Step 11: Now all the details will be shown in this step. Verify the details carefully and if the details are correct then click on the ‘Continue’ button.
Step 12: Now you will have to choose the method of your payment from net banking, credit card or debit card, UPI, and NFT or RTGS. Now scroll down and click on the ‘Confirm’ button.
Step 13: Now if you are paying through your card you will just have to enter your card details like Card number, card holder’s name, the CVV number of your card, and the card’s expiration date. Then enter the captcha code and click on the ‘Pay’ option.
Step 14: So you have now successfully paid your road tax online!
Once the payment is successful you will be able to see the receipt. So print it and save it in the form of a pdf.
