Step 1: Open any browser on your mobile phone, laptop, or computer. Then on the search bar type ‘SBI card’ and then click on the official website of the ‘State Bank of India’ from the search results or you can simply click on the link mentioned below.

Now you will be redirected to the home page of the official website of the State Bank of India. Here you will have to click on the ‘Login’ button.

Step 2: Now the login page will be opened. You can log in using three different ways. You can log in to your account with the help of your mobile number, user ID, or with the help of your card details. So choose any one according to your convenience. For this article, we will be clicking on ‘Mobile number. 


So just enter your mobile number then you will also have to enter the pin of your SBI credit card. Once you are done entering the details correctly just click on the ‘Proceed’ button.

Step 3: Now you will have to enter the last four digits of your SBI credit card and then just click on the ‘Generate OTP’ button. 

Now you will get an OTP on the mobile number that is linked to your State Bank of India credit card. So enter the OTP that you have just received and then click on the ‘Login’ button. 

Step 4: Now you will be logged into your account. Here you will have to click on the ‘My accounts’ option. 

A drop-down menu will appear from which you will have to click on the ‘Submit KYC documents’ option.

Step 5: Now select your credit card. To find out which documents you have to submit for KYC just click on the ‘Click here’ button. The list of the documents to be submitted for KYC will be opened. Check the documents required carefully and then just go back to the earlier page.

Here you will have to upload the address proof document and a photo ID proof as well. You can just click on the browse button, select the document that you want to upload and then just click on ‘open’. Here you will also have to upload a passport-size photo as well. 

Now just click on the check box to give consent and then click on the ‘Submit’ button.

And voila! Your request to update the KYC documents for your credit card will get successfully submitted. Once all of the documents that you have uploaded get verified your KYC will get updated. 

Important Points to Remember

  • All documents that you upload for KYC should be self-attested. 
  • The files should be in pdf, jpeg, jpg, png, or gif formats only. Files in any other format will not be accepted. 
  • The size of the files should not exceed 5MB other wise the documents will not get uploaded.
